Come promote Rotary and our youth at the annual Children and Youth Day at the state capital and Municipal Building Hawaiʻi Children & Youth Day (CYD)Hawaiʻi Children & Youth Day (CYD) is an annual celebration held on the first Sunday of October to honor children and youth and the contributions they make to the community. Purpose and SignificanceCYD is a statewide event that recognizes the potential, resilience, and gifts of Hawaiʻi’s keiki (children) and ‘ōpio (youth). It is a day for families, educators, community leaders, and organizations to come together, nominate youth, and participate in activities that connect children with resources and opportunities Lunch is provided - we will have interactive games manned by Interact teens. This is an opportunity to talk about Rotary to parents, educators, and kids - empwering all to find iout what it is to promote Service Above Self. Lots of fun activities and you will have a chance to see it all 3 shifts of at least 4 people each on Sunday October 4:
