Honolulu Festival - March 9th- WALKERS NEEDED!

PLEASE JOIN OUR DOWNTOWN HONOLULU CLUBS:

Get ready to march with Rotary in one of Hawai‘i’s most exciting cultural celebrations! We invite all Rotary, Rotaract, & Interact Clubs across District 5000 to walk in the Honolulu Festival Grand Parade on Sunday, March 9 along Kalākaua Avenue.

This is a wonderful opportunity to showcase Rotary’s spirit of service, leadership, and global impact while celebrating cultural exchange. Friends and family are welcome to join in the fun!

Event Details:
📅 Date: Sunday, March 9, 2025  
🕒 Check-in: 3:45 p.m.  
🎉 Parade Start: 4:30 p.m.  
📍 Meeting Location: Fort DeRussy Park, Waikīkī  
🚶‍♂️ Parade Route: From Fort DeRussy Park to Kapi‘olani Park  
🎆 Bonus: Stay for the Nagaoka Fireworks Show at 8:30 p.m.!

What to Bring:
✔️ Rotary-branded clothing, hats, or club shirts  
✔️ Water bottle & sunscreen  
✔️ Comfortable walking shoes  
✔️ Enthusiasm and smiles!  

We’ll provide: Rotary banners, signage with impactful statements, and glow sticks to share with the crowd.

Important Info:
🚗 Road Closures: Kalākaua Avenue and Saratoga Road close at 3:45 p.m. – plan ahead!  
🅿️ Parking: Public lots available near Fort DeRussy, but drop-offs are recommended.
