River of Life Service

In the aftermath of the two possible hurricanes last week, Linda Santos and her friend, Betsy Bremer, Bill Gaeth and I helped the less fortunate on Sept 6th, servicing meals to enable them to subsist in their very different lifestyles from ours. While we were concerned about having emergency supplies ready, power outages and being prepared for leaking roofs, these people's very existence was threatened. River of Life's kindness and generosity made a difference in their lives, and the experience of being able to help these people was very humbling and rewarding!
