Hawaii Symphony Orchestra

Michael Titterton recently accepted the position of President of the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra, an honor he never anticipated in his wildest dreams.  He hopes that his lack of musical qualifications will be compensated for, at least partially, by his unbridled enthusiasm for classical music, and his belief that access to it is an essential component of a healthy life, for both a person and a community.  Previously he was President and General Manager of Hawaii Public Radio, from which he retired in 2016 after 17 largely joyful years.
