Kalihi Elementary School Beautification

The new Principal of Kalihi El, John Hamilton wants to do a small campus beautification project at Kalihi Elementary school.  This involves clearing shrubbery from the chain link fence facing the freeway.  Pruning shears and small handsaws will be provided to clear the fence.  We are looking for 20-25 volunteers to help with this project.  We are including Hickam Pearl Harbor members, Kamehameha school students, and military volunteers.  I believe that it will be a very fulfilling project for the school and the community.

The project is on Saturday, April 6^th, from 9:00-noon at the school.  Small hand tools will be provided, but volunteers should bring a hat, sunscreen, garden gloves and covered shoes.  Water and a light lunch will be provided after completion.
